CANFIELD SIDESTEPS BEARS TO REMAIN UNDEFEATED

YOUNGSTOWN OH- Canfield made quick work of East on Thursday night, rolling to a dominant 71-37 road win. The Cardinals set the tone early and never looked back, controlling the game from start to finish.

Drew Shapiro and Bryce Roberts led the way for Canfield with 11 points each. Ray McCune and Frank Tarantino added 8 apiece, while Ben Weaver chipped in 7 as the Cardinals spread the scoring around.

For East, Tyris Davis finished with 8 points, while Darnell Wright, Michael Franklin, and Aiden Kearns each contributed 6. The Golden Bears couldn’t find an answer for Canfield’s firepower.

Next up, Canfield stays on the road Tuesday with a trip to Marlington. East will look to regroup on December 20th when they face Akron North.
