CARDINAL CONCERTO

con·cer·to
/kənˈCHerdō/
noun
1. a musical composition for a solo instrument or instruments accompanied by an orchestra, especially one conceived on a relatively large scale.
The Cardinal Mooney Lady Cards are playing some sweet music on the court these days.  The team is currently 8-3 overall and is making some noise in local power polls as we head toward the home stretch of the campaign.

While the Lady Cards are linked together like a steel chain, one of the Senior Cardinals is especially helping when it comes to tuning up this band.  Conchetta Rinaldi, Mooney’s senior standout has taken this season personally and knows that in her grand finale on the hardwood, she wants to leave everything out on the floor.  She’s known for her defensive ability, and strength in keeping other teams best players off the scoreboard, but has also shown the scorer’s touch when called upon.
This Lady Cardinal intends to fly at the next level as well, as Rinaldi has inked her letter of intent for Youngstown State to continue her softball career.  While we’re certainly looking forward to softball season, our Nate Keiper sits down with Conchetta for this week’s Cardinal Mooney Basketball Player Profile: CARDINAL CONCERTO.
