CARDINAL MOONEY COACH’S CORNER: WITH HEAD COACH CARL PELINI

YOUNGSTOWN, OH- Cardinal Mooney head football coach Carl Pelini joined D.J. Yokley to talk about the 2022 campaign. Cardinal Mooney played one of the most difficult schedules in all of division five. Pelini talks about making the schedule difficult to prepare his squad for the postseason. The Cardinals are playing their best football at the right time after beating Edison 45-14, followed by beating Norwayne 24-17 to advance to the regional semifinals. Coach Pelini has done a fantastic job turning the program around from a year ago to make a regional semifinal appearance against the number one seeded South Range Raiders.
