CARDINALS FIND CLEAR SKIES AFTER LONG BATTLE WITH JFK

WARREN OH- The showdown between Canfield and JFK on Tuesday night didn’t disappoint. Both teams went toe-to-toe, trading punches throughout the game. But Canfield’s balanced attack and a lockdown third quarter, where they held JFK to just 5 points, paved the way for a 59-46 win.

Ben Weaver led Canfield with 17 points, followed by Jake Delisio with 14, Bryce Roberts with 12, and Drew Shapiro adding 9. On the other side, Nick Ryan poured in a game-high 22 points for JFK, with Dom Ryan chipping in 10 and Henry Phillips adding 9.

Canfield heads into conference play Friday, hosting Warren Harding, while JFK will look to rebound on the road against Rootstown.
