CARROLLTON HAUNTS QUAKERS DREAMS

CARROLTON OH- The Salem Quakers still had high hopes of competing for a EBC championship on Friday as they faced Carrolton. But the Warriors turned those dreams into nightmares as they came out of a thriller to beat the Quakers 28-26.

Jackson Johnson went 19/29 in the passing game with 235 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for a pair of scores. He threw his touchdown in the last drive in the game in an amazing find on 4th and long. The game tying two point conversion came just short. Austin Sinkovich caught 3 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown. Blaize Exline caught 10 passes for 66 yards.

Salem will need to bounce back in Week 9 as they return home to host Canton South.
