ASTRO FALCONS ARE EASY LIKE A SUNDAY MORNING

STRUTHERS, OHIO- The Astro Falcons had no problem against Ballistic Baseball as they picked up a 13-1 victory Sunday at Bob Cene Park.

Chandler Maurice led the Falcons at the plate going 3 for 3. The losing pitcher of the evening was Taggart Carfangia, who allowed nine runs on five hits with four strikeouts.

The winning pitcher of the evening was Carson Klase, who allowed one run on three hits with four strikeouts through five innings pitched. 

AVALANCHE MAKE ALL THE PLAYS

STRUTHERS, OHIO- The Avalanche had a good outing Sunday at Bob Cene Park as they picked up a win against the Prospects by a score of 8-2.

The Avalanche were led at the plate by Nick Solderich and Noah Philson, who went 3 for 3, and Ivan Rudiak, Kayden Mayhew, and Rocky Serafino, who all went 2 for 3.

The winning pitcher of the evening was Evan Reiser, who allowed just three hits and had one strikeout.

WHITING SHINES THROUGH

STRUTHERS, OHIO- The Whiting Roll-Offs got the best out of the Prospects as they defeated them 11-5 at Bob Cene park on Friday in 18U action.

In the losing effort, the Prospects were led by Jacob Gugliotta, who went 2 for 3 and by Ethan Powell, who went 2 for 4 at the plate.

The Roll-Offs were led by Sam Patton, who went 2 for 3 and by Treyton Ross, who went 2 for 2 at the plate. The winning pitcher of the game was Joey Pugh, who allowed zero runs on two hits with two strikeouts.

Landon Brunstetter was the losing pitcher as he allowed three runs on one hit with two strikeouts.

AVALANCHE JUMP INTO FIRST PLACE

STRUTHERS OH- Their is a log jam at the top of the 16U division in Class B Baseball. That made Tuesday nights game between Avalanche and Astro Falcons carry a lot of weight.  With the Avalanche trailing by a half game coming in, they knew a win would sit them at the top of the standings. The win is exactly what they got, the Avalanche outlasted the Astro Falcons in 10 innings and secured a 5-4 victory.

Landon Whippo earned a multiple hit day for Avalanche going 2-3 with a RBI.  Rocky Serafino was a thorn in the side of the Astro Falcons going 3-4 with 1 RBI.  Owen Dye wasn’t to be overshadowed as he went 2-4 with a RBI.

Maddox Bell earned the win on the mound pitching 5 innings giving up 2 earned runs on 5 hits. He struck out 6 hitters.

Will Petty was perfect at the plate for the Falcons going 1-1 with a RBI.  Bryson Zirwas was the only other RBI for the Falcons offense on a 1-3 day.  Rowan Urbach collected multiple hits going 2-4 with a run scored.

DURA EDGE FINDS THEIR SWING

STRUTHERS, OHIO- Dura Edge ran away against Knightline Tuesday evening as they topped them by a score of 19-9 at Bob Cene Park.

Dura Edge was led at the plate by Ethan Adams, who went 3 for 4, Noah Troggio, who went 2 for 3, Nathan McGahagan and Nick Scofinsky, who both went 2 for 2.

Knightline was led by John Darnley, who went 3 for 4, Liam Bartlett and AJ Olesh, who both went 2 for 3 in the losing effort. Landon Burke was the winning pitcher of the evening as he allowed one run on three hits and had one strikeout. 

WHITING WHIPS AROUND THE BASES

STRUTHERS, OHIO- The Whiting Roll-Offs snuck away with a close 8-5 win over Athletix Tuesday evening at Bob Cene Park.

The Roll-Offs were led by Nickolas Heakins, who went 2 for 3 and by Christian Anterock, who went 2 for 4 at the plate. Noah Adamson led Athletix in the losing effort as he went 2 for 3 at the plate.

The losing pitcher of the evening was Dylan Simpson, who allowed five runs on two hits. Daniel DePaolo was the winning pitcher of the evening as he allowed four runs on seven hits with five strikeouts. 

CREEKSIDE DEFENSE SHOWS UP BIG

STRUTHERS, OHIO- Creekside Fitness got the 4-0 win Tuesday night at Bob Cene Park against the Prospects.

Creekside was led at the plate by Derek Smail, who went 2 for 4 and scored one run. Zach Mclean got the win on the mound as he allowed just two hits and sat down nine batters at the plate.

The losing pitcher of the evening was Zachary Zebosky, who allowed three runs on one hit.

PROSPECTS ABLE TO HOLD TIGHT

STRUTHERS, OHIO- The Prospects hung on to win against the Whiting Roll-Offs 3-2 Thursday at Bob Cene Park.

The Prospects were led at the plate by Hunter Stacy, who went 2 for 2 and by Reggie Danko, who went 2 for 3. The Roll-Offs were led by Joey Campoli and by Daniel Depaolo, who both went 1 for 2.

Joey Campoli was also the losing pitcher of the evening as he allowed three runs on five hits with eight strikeouts. Landon Brunstetter was the winning pitcher of the evening as he allowed two runs on five hits with eleven strikeouts.

SCORING IS NO PROBLEM FOR THE AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS, OHIO- In what was a high scoring game, the Avalanche just snuck by Ballistic Baseball 10-9 Thursday at Bob Cene Park.

Ballistic was led by Taggart Carfangia, who went 4 for 4, Owen Gazda, who went 3 for 4, and Kyle Gilson, who went 2 for 4 at the plate. The Avalanche were led by Landon Whippo, who went 3 for 4 and by Tanner Turosky, who went 2 for 3.

Noah Philson was the winning pitcher of the nigh as he allowed one run on two hits with three strikeouts. Kyle Gilson was also the losing pitcher of the evening as he allowed three runs on five hits with one strikeout.

Creekside Fitness was led by multiple players who had one hit including Hunter Shields, who went 1 for 1, Frank Senediak and Wyatt Burchill, who both went 1 for 2 at the plate.

The losing pitcher of the night was John Darnley, who allowed four runs on three hits with four strikeouts. The winning Pitcher of the evening was Zach Mcclean, who allowed one run on four hits with eight strikeouts.
