BALLISTIC JUST GETS BY

STRUTHERS OH- Ballistic Baseball’s 16U squad had to sweat one out Tuesday as they held on to win a game against Athletix 5-4.

Gabe Rusnak was perfect at the plate for Ballistic going 3-3.  Tyler Wright went 1-3 with a RBI on the day.  Cameron Huff also contributed an RBI on a 1-3 day, and so did Johnny Reyes.

Owen Gazda got the win on the mound for Ballistic. He went 4 innings and gave up 0 earned runs on 4 hits. He struck out a pair.

Zach Ward had a pair of RBI to lead Athletix going 1-3.  Kaiden Clare put in a 1-3 day with a RBI.  Kyler Bourne was perfect at the plate going 3-3 with a RBI.

Cake Moraski took the loss despite only giving up 2 earned runs.  He was able to strike out a pair of hitters.

EAGLE WEAR PUTS THEIR BEST FOOT FORWARD

STRUTHERS, OHIO- Eagle Wear got the best out of Dura Edge as they bested them 11-6 Tuesday at Bob Cene Park.

Eagle Wear was led by Cole Gamertsfelder, Zach Davis, Jacob Jenkins, and Braden Devine, who all had multiple hits at the plate.

Dura Edge was led by Nathan McGahagan and Logan Cypher, who both went 2 for 3 at the plate in the losing effort.

Ryan Neifer was the losing pitcher of the night as he allowed eight runs on ten hits with four strikeouts.

Dominic Cucitrone picked up the win on the mound for Eagle Wear as he allowed just one hit, no runs allowed, and sat down three batters at the plate.

CREEKSIDE PULLS OUT A CLOSE ONE

STRUTHERS, OHIO- In what was a close game for most of the way, the Creekside Fitness scored four runs in the sixth inning to take the lead for good as they defeated the Whiting Roll-Offs 6-2 at Bob Cene Park.

The Roll-Offs were led by Blake Krushinski and Genero Leitera, who both went 2 for 3 at the plate. The losing pitcher of the night was RJ Kissick, who allowed three runs on five hits and sat down five batters at the plate.

Creekside was led by Dane Barber at the plate as he went 2 for 3. On the mound, it was Hunter Kobialka who picked up the win as he allowed two runs on eight hits with four strikeouts.

ASTRO FALCONS KEEP UP DOMINANT WAYS

STRUTHERS, OHIO- It was a run away victory for the Astro Falcons at Bob Cene park as they they took down Knightline 12-2.

Several players for the Falcons had one hit, but was Will Petty who led things at the plate as he went 2 for 3.

The winning pitcher of the night was Andrew Corfield, who allowed two hits, one run, and had one strikeout.

The losing pitcher for Knightline was Freddy Bolchalk, who allowed six hits, five runs, and had six strikeouts. 

PROSPECTS ABLE TO HOLD TIGHT

STRUTHERS, OHIO – The Prospects hung on to win against the Whiting Roll-Offs 3-2 Thursday at Bob Cene Park.

The Prospects were led at the plate by Hunter Stacy, who went 2 for 2 and by Reggie Danko, who went 2 for 3. The Roll-Offs were led by Joey Campoli and by Daniel Depaolo, who both went 1 for 2.

Joey Campoli was also the losing pitcher of the evening as he allowed three runs on five hits with eight strikeouts. Landon Brunstetter was the winning pitcher of the evening as he allowed two runs on five hits with eleven strikeouts.

FALCONS TAKE JUNIOR WORLD SERIES CROWN

STRUTHERS OH- The Astro Falcons 16U team battled through championship Sunday and earned themselves a NABF title. They out hit FTB Mid-Atlantic in a 11-6 win.

Jake Schneider was the big bat in the lineup for the Astro Falcons. He went 3-4 with 2 runs scored, and 3 RBI.  Drew Kaschak managed another big day at the plate going 2-3 with a run scored, 2 walks drawn, and a RBI.  Kolten Ruark drove in a pair of runs going 2-4 with 2 runs scored.  Ryan DiLullo also managed multiple hits on a 2-5 day scoring 2 runs.

Brendan Ray got the win on the mound for the Falcons. He pitched 5 innings and gave up 6 runs on 12 hits.  He struck out 1.

WHITING WIPES OUT THE TIDE

STRUTHERS OH- Whiting Roll-Offs left absolutely no doubt in anyone’s mind who the better team was on Saturday. They blasted their way to a 14-2 win over the Ohio Tide.

Corbin Sevcik was a problem at the plate as he went 3-3 with a pair of walks drawn, 3 runs scored, and 2 RBI.  Aidan Leiendecker continued his strong tournament with a 3-5 day knocking in 3 RBI, and scoring a run himself.  Nick Parrotto went 2-3 with a walk, 2 runs scored, and 3 RBI.  Ethan Feezle joined the RBI party on a 1-4 day with 1 run scored.

Parrotto pitched his way to a victory as well. He went 6 innings and gave up 0 earned runs on 5 hits.  He struck out 5 and walked none.

IMPACT BASEBALL BLANKS LONG ISLAND

STRUTHERS OH- Impact Baseball bounced back from their loss earlier in the day and impressed everyone with a 10-0 blanking of Long Island Baseball.

Michael Samerin walked, scored a run, and collected a pair of RBI.  Nolan VanSickle also walked, scored a run, and gathered 2 RBI.  Frankie Galan went 1-2 with 2 walks, 2 runs scored, and a RBI.  Tyler Scharton walked twice, went 1-3 at the plate, scored 2 runs, and got himself a RBI.

Collin Lange was the only pitcher that Impact Baseball needed. He went all 6 innings and gave up 0 runs on 3 hits.  He struck out 5 and walked zero.

CREEKSIDE HOLDS OFF LATE RALLY

STRUTHERS OH- Despite the Brooklyn Bonnies scoring 4 runs in the final 2 innings, Creekside was able to hold on to an 8-5 win.

Santino Ciambotti led their order from the top going 2-3 with 3 RBI.  Mason Petridis knocked in a RBI while going 2-2.  Donavan Bell-Sullivan went 1-3 with 3 runs scored.  Tanner Stricko, and Hunter Kobialka both went 1-2 at the plate.

Sam Landis picked up the win on the mound.  He went 3 innings and gave up 1 run on 6 hits.  He struck out a hitter.

Kymani Scott went 2-2 at the plate with a RBI for the Bonnies.  Anthony Roberts went 2-3 with a walk and a RBI.  Aaron Sibbles went 2-4 with a run scored and a RBI.

FALCONS FIGHT FOR SECOND WIN OF THE DAY

STRUTHERS OH- The Astro Falcons took the momentum from their 11-1 win earlier in the day to fight for a 5-1 win over Impact Baseball. That gives the Falcons back to back wins on the final day of pool play.

Carter Wilson drove in a pair of runs on a 2-3 day at the plate.  Hayden Warmouth also collected a RBI on a 1-2 day.  He also walked, and scored a run. Evan Tice went 1-2 with a RBI.  Ryan DiLullo managed multiple hits going 2-4 with 2 runs scored.

Cameron Foy gave the Astro Falcons a complete game effort in the win. In his 7 innings pitched, he gave up 0 earned runs on 5 hits.  He struck out 7.
