EOAC REVISED FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

LISBON, OH- The Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference held a special meeting to discuss the logistics of the new schedules for football that was recently approved by the OHSAA.  As we’ve seen in the recent months, all schedules are subject to change as information is made available to districts.

According to the OHSAA proposal, schools are able to add games to their schedule if they are eliminated from the playoffs, or choose not to participate.  The maximum would be 10 games, excluding postseason.

SELFIES WANTED: 2020 YSN SENIOR SPORTS SEND-OFF

EAST PALESTINE, OH- Listen, this Corona Virus is a serious issue.  It’s made things complicated for everyday life, and for the Class of 2020, it’s shattered the dreams these student-athletes have had for their entire lives.

So, let’s do something to at least provide some acknowledgment for these student-athletes and their families!

We’re asking that anybody that wants to take part in our “Senior Sports Send-Off” sends us a video (school spirit permitted and very much encouraged) 5-15 seconds long of your name, your school, your sport, and what your next steps are (school, trade, job) so we can give you some of that spotlight you deserve.

We’re also going against our rules of just-YSN schools taking part.  So any way we can help, we will.

Here’s to hoping this gives you at least something to get ready for and something you can take with you from your senior year.

Congratulations, Class of 2020.
