THE PRICE IS RIGHT

CORTLAND OH- Every team goes through transitions. Players graduate, and new ones step into the spotlight. For Lakeview’s volleyball team, one player who has stepped up to the challenge and led with excellence is junior middle blocker and team captain, Reagan Price.

After a season that saw the Bulldogs graduate several key seniors, the team had its fair share of question marks entering the new campaign. However, Reagan Price emerged as a beacon of consistency and leadership, ensuring the team’s success. As the top returning player in terms of kills from the previous season, Reagan was well aware that she would be asked to shoulder a significant portion of the offensive load.

But her role extended beyond just scoring points. Reagan also brought a wealth of varsity experience to the court, serving as a source of guidance and leadership for her teammates. Her on-court leadership proved invaluable and played a pivotal role in the Bulldogs’ accomplishments this season.

Reagan has delivered on the high expectations set for her, displaying dominance on the court. Her impressive 2023 statistics showcase her exceptional abilities: she’s recorded 356 kills, averaging a remarkable 5.1 kills per set, with a stellar hitting percentage of .535. What’s even more impressive is her precision, with only 35 errors in 602 attacks. She’s also contributed 43 blocks, 90 digs, and 44 aces, further illustrating her versatility and impact on the game.

Perhaps one of the most intriguing aspects of Lakeview’s team this year is the absence of seniors. This means that the same roster, including the dynamic Reagan Price, will be returning next season. The groundwork they are laying this year will undoubtedly pay dividends in the future.

As Reagan’s career continues to unfold, there is no doubt that her influence and contributions to Lakeview’s volleyball program will continue to shape the team’s success. So, don’t miss a second of the rest of Reagan’s journey, as she leads the way for the Bulldogs and makes a lasting impact on the world of volleyball.

Reagan was a live guest on YSN’s Running Point, brought to you by Greenwood Chevy to talk about her season.  You won’t want to miss the latest Lakeview Volleyball Player Profile only on YSN!
