CLARK THE SPARK FOR LADY DEVILS IN TOPPING TIGERS

LISBON, OH- Kaity Clark showed timely hitting on Saturday, driving in four on three hits to lead Lisbon past Wellsville 14-1 on Saturday. Clark drove in runs on a single in the first and a double in the third.

An early lead helped propel the Lady Devils to victory. Lisbon scored on a home run by Justyce Vrable, an error, the single by Clark, and a double by McKenna Dailey in the first inning.  Lisbon didn’t stop there as they put up eight runs in the third inning. Mallory Gallo, Kenedy Vrable, Mya Emmerling, Emma Thompson, Clark, and Dailey each had RBIs in the big inning.

Taylor Deland led the Lisbon to victory in the circle. She allowed four hits and one run over four innings, striking out six and walking zero.

Hunter Weekley took the loss for Wellsville. She lasted three innings, allowing nine hits and 14 runs.

Lisbon held an impromptu hit parade and had nine hits in the game. Clark, Vrable, and Dailey each managed multiple hits for Lisbon.  Clark went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the gals in blue in the hit column.
