CLIPPERS FLY HIGHER THAN ROCKETS

COLUMBIANA OH- The Columbiana Clipper Boys hoop squad improved to 18-2 for the season as they took down the Lowellville  Rockets 76-64 in Saturday night basketball action.

Seth Struharik dropped in a game high 37 points for the Clippers as his teammates Hunter Davanzo had 16 points and Cooper Brown scored 13 points. Columbiana trailed 22-15 after 1 but score 51 accompanied  51 points in the final 3 quarters.

For the Rockets Vinny Sullivan knocked down 20 points and Drew Modelski followed up with 16 markers.

Next up for the Clippers is a road contest against United. on Tuesday evening. Lowellville is back at home on Tuesday hosting Jackson Milton.
