COLUMBIANA’S DEFENSE DOES THE JOB

COLUMBIANA OH- Columbiana locked things down on defense Wednesday night, stifling South Range in a 43-27 win. The Clippers were locked in from the jump, holding the Raiders to just 7 points in the first half and never letting them find a rhythm.

Annah Clemmer led Columbiana with 13 points, while Evy Rapp added 12 and Ellie Venezia chipped in 9 to round out the scoring. On the South Range side, Katie Dance and Gwen Lowry each finished with 7, but the Raiders couldn’t crack the Clippers’ defense.

Columbiana is back in action on December 2nd at home against Jackson-Milton. South Range will look to bounce back in their home opener on Thursday, December 5th, against Liberty.
