CRESTVIEW HOLDS THE BLUE DEVILS SCORELESS
COLUMBIANA OH- Crestview wasted no time grabbing the lead Wednesday and never looked back, steamrolling Lisbon 12-0 in five innings.
The Rebels got rolling with a sac fly in the first, tacked on another in the second, and then blew it wide open in the third. Six hits turned into six runs, with doubles flying off bats and the bases constantly busy. By the time the third inning wrapped, Crestview was in full control.
They didn’t let up in the fourth, either. Makayla McKee and Alivia Shetler both went yard—Shetler’s blast driving in two—and Brenna Figley stayed hot with her second RBI double of the day to cap off a four-run frame.
Emma Snyder was dealing in the circle, spinning a one-hitter over five innings while striking out six. Crestview’s defense had her back all game, and Lisbon never had a chance to get anything going.
At the plate, the Rebels mashed 15 hits. Figley was a machine at the top of the lineup, going 4-for-4. Snyder, McKee, and Lainey Milhoan all added multi-hit efforts in the blowout win. Next up: Crestview is back home Thursday, looking to stay hot against Beaver Local.
