CRESTVIEW KEEPS SWINGING IN WIN OVER GENEVA

McKenna Schultz was an RBI machine on Saturday, driving in four on three hits to lead Crestview past Geneva 11-6 on Saturday. Schultz drove in runs on a single in the fourth and a double in the seventh.

The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. Crestview collected 12 hits and Geneva had 11.

The Eagles captured the lead in the second inning. Abby Stash drove in two when Stash doubled.

Crestview took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Brooke Brubaker singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.

Crestview notched five runs in the seventh inning. Karsyn Moore, Brubaker, Jensyn Seabrook, and Schultz each drove in runs.

Kaedyn Sutton earned the victory on the rubber for the Rebels . The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing 11 hits and six runs while striking out seven.

Daliz Alvarez took the loss for Geneva. The hurler went seven innings, allowing 11 runs on 12 hits and striking out five.

Crestview saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game. Brubaker, Schultz, and Sutton each managed multiple hits. Brubaker went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Crestview in hits.

Geneva totaled 11 hits. Stash, Carmen Alvarez, and Makayla Van Sickle all collected multiple hits. Stash led with three hits in four at bats.
