DEVILS BOUNCE BACK AGAINST SOUTHERN

LISBON, OH- The Lisbon Lady Blue Devils handled their business last night. In a bounce-back win, they easily dispatched Southern 11-1 on Monday.

In the first inning, The Lady Blue Devils got their offense started. Justyce Vrabledrove in one when she singled. Lisbon scored four runs in the third inning. Vrable, Emma Thompson, Kaity Clark, and Mallory Gallo powered the big inning with RBIs.

Thompson was the winning pitcher for Lisbon. She allowed five hits and one run over five innings, striking out six and walking one.

Michael took the loss for Southern. She allowed 11 hits and 11 runs over four and a third innings, striking out one.

Lisbon socked one home run on the day. Vrable went for the long ball in the third inning to continue her stellar campaign.

Lisbon racked up 11 hits. Vrable, Mya Emmerling, and Thompson all had multiple hits for Lisbon. Emmerling and Vrable each managed three hits to lead the team.

Southern scattered five hits in the game. Boyle and McCulley each racked up multiple hits for Southern.
