DOGS TOUGH OUT WIN OVER URSULINE

SALEM, OH- What started as a toe-to-toe battle between valley rivals, turned into Poland flexing their athleticism on both sides of the floor against an outstanding Ursuline team to the tune of 60-46.

The Irish started off quickly and were moving the ball well at all positions before going cold from the field.  Poland would take advantage of timely turnovers, and transition buckets to press their lead beyond double-digits several times during the game.  Ross Dedo led all scorers with 18 points, followed up by Andrew Centofanti’s 13 points, and Brody Todd with 10.

For Ursuline, Terrance Pankey scored an impressive 13 all over the floor, while Flauto was deadly behind the arc with a dozen points, and Irving added 11.

Poland will face Salem in the Holiday Championship at 7:30, while Ursuline will battle Columbiana in the consolation game at 3:30.  Both games can be seen on YSNLive.com.
