EAGLES AREN’T SLOWING DOWN ONE BIT

LOUISVILLE, OHIO- Four runs in the third inning led the Warren JFK Eagles past the Dalton Bulldogs 7-1 on Thursday in the Regional Semifinal round of Division IV statewide tournament.

The Eagles batters contributing to the big inning included Jake Hettrick-Carfangia, Micheal Bartoe, Santino Ciambotti, and Jaden Rishel, who all drove in runs. Ciambotti, Rishel, Michael Condoleon, Hettrick-Carfangia, and Dominic Ryan each collected one hit to lead things at the plate for the Eagles.

Freddy Bolchalk led things off on the mound for for the Eagles as he allowed four hits and one run over seven innings, striking out six and walking one. Seth Wyckoff was on the pitcher’s mound for the Bulldogs as the lefty surrendered five runs on one hit over two innings, striking out one. Justin Basinger and Will Carmichael entered the game from the bullpen, throwing four innings and one inning respectively.

The Eagles will now move onto the Regional Final round to take on Calvert.
