EAGLES INCH PAST BOARDMAN TO STAY PERFECT

WARREN OH- Warren JFK stayed unbeaten Monday night, pulling out a gritty 51-49 win over Boardman in a game that went down to the wire. The Eagles showed serious composure to move to 3-0 on the young season.

Didi Ryan led the way for JFK, dropping 20 points, with Gianna Pompelia adding 14 and Hannah Myers pitching in 12. For Boardman, Sara Bero paced the Spartans with 13 points, while Tori Strines added 10. Mikayla Rivera and Jocelyn Torres each chipped in 7, and Ava Freeborough finished with 6 in a balanced attack.

JFK looks to keep the streak alive Wednesday when they hit the road to face Mogadore. Boardman will aim to bounce back at home Saturday against Crestview.
