EAGLES SMASH THEIR WAY TO DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

Cam Hollobaugh shut down Heartland Christian, throwing a complete game shutout and leading John F. Kennedy Catholic  to a 10-0 victory on Thursday

The Eagles were boosted by Jaden Rishel who went 4-for-4 at the plate. Rishel singled in the second, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, and singled in the fifth.

JFK scored five runs in the fourth inning. Their offense in the inning was led by Michael Condoleon, Gavin Shrum, Rishel, and Aidan Rossi, who each had RBIs in the inning.

A single by Jake Kling in the fifth inning was a positive for Heartland Christian.

Hollobaugh got the win for the Eagles. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out seven and walking one.

Caleb Graft took the loss for Heartland Christian. Graft went three and a third innings, allowing seven runs on three hits and striking out two.

Rishel went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead JFK in hits.

Kling led Heartland Christian with one hit in two at bats.
