EAGLES SWEEP LISBON SERIES

HANOVERTON, OH- The Lisbon Blue Devils tried to take a page from the United playbook on Wednesday by making a comeback on the road.  Unfortunately for the Devils, there were some pages missing.  Lisbon‘s effort to come back from down four runs in the fourth inning came up just short, as they fell 7-6 to United on Wednesday. The Devils scored two runs in the failed comeback on an error and a walk by Blake Reynolds.  The Blue Devils fell behind early in the loss. United scored on a single by Leyman in the first inning, a single by Mcdevitt in the first inning, and a groundout by Parker Hydrick in the second inning.

Hahlen pitched United to victory. He allowed two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out three. Antram threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Justin Sweeney took the loss for Lisbon. He surrendered six runs on eight hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking zero.  Nick Mundy led the offense for Lisbon with two hits in four at-bats, while Logan Bell drew three walks.

United tallied ten hits in the game. Hydrick and Black each managed multiple hits for United.
