EAST LIVERPOOL BASKETBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH KADE REYNOLDS

EAST LIVERPOOL OH- East Liverpool basketball is gearing up for another exciting season after a successful 18-7 run last year. Despite the departure of standout player Preston Kerr, who averaged 19 points and 7 rebounds per game, the Potters return a solid core ready to carry the torch into the 2024 season.

Head coach Kade Reynolds is optimistic about the upcoming year, highlighting the experience and talent of key returners like Cohen Pease and Nate Birch. Pease contributed 10 points per game last season, while Birch added 9 points per game. Both players will play pivotal roles in filling the void left by Kerr’s graduation and leading the team on both ends of the court. They will be helped by a senior class that features eight players, so the Potters will never lack leadership.

With a year of growth under their belts, the Potters are focused on maintaining their competitive edge and making another deep run. Coach Reynolds has been hard at work preparing his squad, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and stepping up in key moments.

East Liverpool opens their season on December 3rd with a home game against Carrollton. It’s the first step in what promises to be another thrilling campaign for the Potters as they aim to build on last year’s success and continue their winning tradition.
