EDGEWOOD NAMES KRAY MALE WARRIOR OF THE YEAR
ASHTABULA OH- Edgewood has named Logan Kray as the 2024 Male Warrior of the Year. Kray earned an impressive 10 letters throughout his high school career, excelling in basketball and baseball for four years and also playing golf and football. Logan was not just a sports star; he was also active in the National Honor Society, the Edgewood Student Athletic Council, and the Captain’s Council. With over 100 volunteer hours under his belt, he gave back to his community in a big way. Academically, he crushed it with a 4.4 GPA, earning a spot on the CVC All-Academic team three times and being named Academic All-Ohio by the state Basketball Coaches Association this past winter.
In baseball, Kray was a 4-time 1st Team All-Conference as a first baseman and pitcher, a 2-time Chagrin Valley Conference Player of the Year, and a 2-time All-Ashtabula County Player of the Year. He was named 1st Team All-County first baseman in 2024 and was part of the 2022 CVC championship team, where he earned 2nd Team MVP honors and 1st Team All NE Lakes District honors.
In basketball, he was a 4-time All-CVC Conference selection and Co-MVP this past winter, helping his team win a sectional championship and finish 18-5. Over his four years, he was part of 55 Warrior wins.
In golf, Logan was a member of the CVC Championship team as the #2 golfer, earning 1st Team All Chagrin Valley Conference honors with the 3rd lowest scoring average in the league this past season.
Logan Kray stood out not only for his athletic talent but also for his academic excellence and leadership. He earned numerous awards and the respect of his coaches, leaving a lasting legacy at Edgewood.
