LISBON, OH- This isn’t Mya Emmerling’s first rodeo. The Lisbon Ace cut through the Chalker hitters on Wednesday en route to an 8-1 Sectional Championship for the Lady Blue Devils.
Emmerling was brilliant in the pitcher’s circle on Wednesday, as she threw a no-hitter, and was in a jam only in the first inning before taking over for the rest of the game. Emmerling allowed zero hits and one run over seven innings, striking out five.
Southington Chalker’s only offense came from a ground out, scoring one run.
Lisbon tallied nine hits in the game. Kaity Clark and Morgan Lively all managed multiple hits for Coach Crismon’s squad. Clark led Lisbon with three hits in four at-bats. Justyce Vrable would also score twice for Lisbon
