FALCONS PUT THE BAM IN BAMBERG

MYRTLE BEACH SC- The Fitch bats just keep on blazing as the team continues to improve on its undefeated record to start the season.

A ten run offensive explosion in the second inning followed by another seven runs in the third was all the Lady Falcons needed to beat Bamberg-Ehrhardt (SC), 17-0 on Tuesday in Myrtle Beach.

Senior Caitlin Mitchell led the offense with three hits and two RBIs and nearly hit for the cycle as she put up a single, a double, and a triple. Ayla Ray belted a home run with two RBIs while Samantha Severn kept her hot streak alive with two hits and also got on base on a walk.

Senior cather McKenna Hogan had two singles and an RBI and was complemented by a single and an RBI from Watts. Also getting in on the action were Julia Wileman and Morgan Roby, each with one double apiece, and Kylie Folkwein who added a single and a triple.
