FITCH ERUPTS PAST THE QUAKERS

AUSTINTOWN OH- Leading the visiting Salem Quakers by just one 13-12 after the opening quarter, Austintown Fitch  outscored the Quakers  by 20 points in the final three periods  to gain a  58-37 victory on Saturday.

Rachel Spalding lit up the gym dropping in 21 points while her running mate Samantha Severn scored 12 points to add on to the Falcons offense. .  For Salem Reese Davidson-Chuck had another solid outing working hard to get 9 points.

Next up for Salem is a play-off match against the visiting Struthers Wildcats next Saturday at 7pm. Fitch will play in their regular season finale on Monday traveling to South Range.
