FRIDAY NIGHT BELONGS TO CREEKSIDE
STRUTHERS OH- Friday night belonged to Creekside as they rolled to an 8-1 victory over Avalanche. Creekside’s offense was clicking, and their pitching was on point. Tyler Skeen led the charge with a 2-5 performance, driving in two runs. Emmitt Filisky contributed by going 2-3 with an RBI, a walk, and scoring twice. Hunter Shields added to the onslaught with a 2-3 night and an RBI, while Caleb Hadley went 2-4 with an RBI and a run. Frank Senediak and Wyatt Burchill each had two hits, with Senediak driving in a run and scoring, and Burchill crossing the plate twice.
On the mound, Filisky was lights out, pitching five innings, giving up no runs on four hits, and striking out two.
For Avalanche, Drew Gault went 2-3 and scored their only run. Maddox Bell, Grayson Eicher, and Noah Philson each added a hit, but it wasn’t enough to counter Creekside’s dominance.
