GIRARD ROCKS THE RIM TO GET BY SALEM

SALEM, OH-  Girard went into hostile territory on Tuesday and walked away as a team to keep a close eye on in 2020.  The Indians, led by Craig Hannon are a team that can shift their play to match the weakness of the opposition, which is how the Tribe strode away late in the game to defeat the Quakers 66-42.

Girard (1-2) was led by Christian Graziano’s 25 point effort and supplemented by Thomas Cardieus’s 15 tallies.

Salem (0-2) was paced by Jaren Snyder and Hunter Griffith who each recorded 9 points.  Griffith added 10 boards for the Quakers.

Salem will prep for EBC foe, Alliance on Friday at home, while Girard will head to Falcon Country to take on conference rival, Jefferson.
