GRADISHAR DEALS ANOTHER NO HITTER
CHAMPION OH- Gabby Gradishar was brilliant on the rubber on Wednesday, as she threw a no-hitter to lead Champion past Crestview 10-0.
Champion secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the first inning. Isabella Meyer, Abigail Meadors, Olivia Gray, Madison Ziegler, and Maddison Sylvester each drove in runs during the inning.
The Golden Flashes got things moving in the first inning, when Meyer tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
Gradishar took the win for Champion. She allowed zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out 12 and walking zero.
Champion Golden Flashes Varsity hit one home run on the day. Morgan Davis had a long ball in the fifth inning.
Champion tallied 17 hits on the day. Addison Warzala, Gradishar, Davis, Meyer, Ziegler, Meadors, and Gray all managed multiple hits. Warzala went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the offense in hits.
