CANFIELD, OH- The Lady Raiders can exhale.  Girard was a team that was definitely a sleeper in the OHSAA Tournament this year- one that no team really wanted to face.  However, Girard watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 5-0 loss to South Range on Wednesday. South Range scored on a single by Drew Feren in the first inning, an error in the second inning, and a single by Bree Kohler in the second inning.

The Lady Indians lost despite out-hitting South Range five to four.  One bright spot for Girard was a single by Sahan Dede in the first inning.
