UNIONTOWN, OH-  Tuesday’s game against Green was a heartbreaker for South Range , as they lost the lead late in a 5-3 defeat. The game was tied at one with Green batting in the bottom of the fifth when Andrego doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.  The Lady Raiders got things moving in the first inning when an error scored one run for South Range.  Green knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the third inning, when an error scored one run for Green.

Hammer pitched Green to victory. She went seven innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out four.  Madison Weaver took the loss for South Range . She surrendered five runs on eight hits over six innings, striking out three and walking one.

Offensively, Hope Thomas went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead South Range in hits.  Green tallied eight hits on the day. Daugherty and Agusta each collected multiple hits for Green.
