HERE’S A STORY- OF A MAN NAMED BRADY

YOUNGSTOWN, OH- Ursuline junior student-athlete Brady Shannon has a lot going for him.  He has the brains in the classroom, he has the frame of a super athlete, and has the skills in all connected sports to make him “the guy” any time the ball (or bat) is in his hands.  He’s actually a guy some coaches are grateful that there’s NOT more time in a day- so Shannon can’t add any additional sports to his repertoire.

From all of this, though, Shannon remains as humble as it gets.  A young man who learned leadership along the way and from being taken under the wings of great athletes and coaches in the halls of UHS, Shannon now embraces his role of leader.

Brady came out earlier this week on Twitter announcing that his hard work had paid off, and blessings will be increased 2 baseball seasons from now when he walks into a new role at the University of Central Florida to join their baseball program.  An announcement that was a welcome surprise to the area, but anybody who knew, played with, or encountered Shannon knew it was only a matter of time- and the story doesn’t end there.  There could be a chance that he catches the eye of a professional team over the next 16 months- and could find himself living out his dream of playing baseball for a living.

Whichever, and whatever happens- we know that Brady Shannon has always- and will always represent his family, friends, and fans with class.

We had the chance to sit down with Brady and talk about his love of ALL sports, and the respect and special place that his teammates and coaches have in any sport he plays.  All that and more on the latest edition of Ursuline Player Profile: Here’s A Story- Of a Man Named Brady.
