HOBAN OUTLASTS IN THRILLER AGAINST JFK

AKRON, OH- Both teams were strong on the pitcher’s mound on Thursday, but Archbishop Hoban was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Warren JFK on Thursday. Jaden Rishel started the game for the Eagles and recorded 18 outs, respectively.

Jordan Kievman earned the win for Hoban. The fireballer lasted five innings, allowing four hits and zero runs while striking out seven. Luke Driscoll threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Rishel started the game for JFK. Rishel went six innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out one.

Aidan Rossi, Michael Condoleon, Andrew Lapolla, Micheal Bartoe, and Dominic Ryan each collected one hit to lead John F. Kennedy Catholic Varsity Eagles.

Michael Ciavolella went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Knights in hits. Archbishop Hoban didn’t commit a single error in the field. Blake Bantum had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
