HOT BATS CONTINUE FOR LISBON

LISBON, OH- The sticks are on fire for the Lady Blue Devils right now.  The Lisbon Lady Blue Devils took the lead late and defeated Catholic Central 17-11 on Saturday.

Mckenna Dailey collected four hits in six at-bats to help lead the Blue Devils Varsity to victory. Dailey doubled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the third, and doubled in the seventh.

Catholic Central evened things up at 11 in the bottom of the sixth inning when they doubled, scoring two runs.

Kyrstin Reckner got the win for Lisbon. The righty allowed seven hits and six runs over four and a third innings, striking out three and walking one.

Joney started the game for Catholic Central. The hurler allowed three hits and three runs over one inning, striking out two and walking zero Morgan Lively started the game for Lisbon. The pitcher lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and five runs while striking out three

Lisbon socked one home run on the day. Justyce Vrable went for the long ball in the first inning.

The Lady Devils tallied 20 hits in the game. Dailey, Alexa Wichmann, Parker Henthorne, Reckner, Lively, Anna Marshalek, and Vrable all had multiple hits. Dailey led David hitters with four hits in six at-bats.

Crust went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Catholic Central in hits.
