HOWLAND SWEEPS TWIN BILLING

The Tigers traveled to Carrollton Saturday in doubleheader action and came away with two wins. The victories up the Tigers record to 3-5 (0-2).

In game one, Brady Adams pitched five solid innings striking out seven and Jak Kenney came in to get the win for Howland, pitching three innings giving up no runs and striking out three. Brendan Ray had a double. Tigers with two or more hits: Marco Massucci (2), Brendan Ray (2), and Robert Gumino (3). Mason Bayus had 2 RBIs. Howland won by a score of 6-4.

In game two, Anthony Massuicci pitched five innings and recorded the win. Brendan Ray had the save. The Tigers scattered 13 hits. Leading the way were Marco Massucci (3 hits) and Luca Massucci with (2 hits, double). Other Tigers with doubles were Braden Gebhardt and Ryan Hooper. The final score was 8-5.

The Tigers are back in action Monday as they travel to WGH.
