HUBBARD HANDLES HARDING

HUBBARD, OHIO- Hubbard’s late runs lifted them over the Warren G. Harding Raiders, 12-5 on Friday night.

The Eagles scored more than two runs in every inning except the fourth as they were led by Ben Wilcox, who went 2 for 2 including blasting a two run home run in the bottom of the third.

The winning pitcher on the day was Keegan Balla, who pitched four innings, allowing 9 hits, 5 runs, and sat down 5 batters before being relieved by Alex Yoder, who pitched three innings, allowed 1 hit, and struck out 6 batters.

The losing pitcher of the game was William List, who allowed 7 hits, 9 runs, and had 3 strikeouts.

Hubbard picks up their seventh win on the year and will be back in action when they travel to Girard on Monday to take on the Indians at 5:00pm.
