HUBBARD IS MOVING ON

HUBBARD, OHIO- Phoebe Rusnak didn’t allow a single run against the East Golden Bears, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Hubbard Eagles Softball to a 11-0 first round playoff victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles got things moving in the first inning, when Haleigh Taylor singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run then they continued to preform on a high level as they put up five runs in the third inning.

Rusnak earned the win in the circle as she went five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out eight and walking zero. Samair Colon was on the rubber for East as she went four innings, allowing 11 runs on ten hits and striking out two.

The Eagles tallied ten hits as Jillian Palumbo, Alyssa Gregory, Rusnak, and Taylor all had multiple hits as Palumbo went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the way.
