IRONS SHINES AS RAIDERS SHUT OUT TRIBE

Reagan Irons threw a gem on Wednesday for the South Range Raiders, allowing zero runs and besting Girard by a score of 8-0

Bree Kohler collected four hits in four at bats to help lead the Raiders to victory.  Bree Kohler homered in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fifth, and doubled in the sixth.

The Raiders opened up scoring in the first inning.  Bree Kohler homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

The Raiders notched four runs in the sixth inning.  The rally was led by doubles from Hanna Dennison and Bree Kohler, a walk by Drew Feren, and a fielder’s choice by Julie Centofanti.

One bright spot for Girard was a single by Dede in the first inning.

Reagan Irons pitched the Raiders to victory. She allowed three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking zero

Spisak  took the loss for Girard. She lasted six innings, allowing 11 hits and eight runs.

South Range socked one home run on the day. Bree Kohler had a four bagger in the first inning.

The Raiders collected 11 hits.  Bree Kohler, Brooke Sauerwein, and Hanna Dennison all collected multiple hits.  Bree Kohler led the Raiders with four hits in four at bats.  The Raiders didn’t commit a single error in the field. Kali Dudich had the most chances in the field with five.  South Range also tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Bree Kohler led the way with three.
