JACKSON MILTON STARTS FAST IN VICTORY OVER TROJANS

NORTH JACKSON, OH- After defeating Sebring 42-22 on Friday night, the Jackson-Milton Varsity Football team is currently riding the longest active winning streak in over 25 years as they extend their streak to 5 straight victories dating back to last season. Last night, Jackson-Milton started hot as they raced out to a 22-0 lead at the end of the first quarter led by 2 passing touchdowns by Sr QB Frank Prozy. Prozy connected on a 40-yard pass to Sr FB Noah Kramer on the first offensive play from scrimmage for the Jays. Not long after, Prozy connected with Sr. Aaren Landis on a 55-yard touchdown pass to extend the lead to 14-0.

Sean Lengyel capped off the first quarter with a 15-yard rushing touchdown to send the lead to 22-0. The Blue Jays finished that half with a 36-6 half time advantage. The Blue Jays finished with 3 passing touchdowns and 3 rushing touchdowns on the day while accumulating over 330 yards of total offense. Prozy led the Jays in passing with 188 yards and 2 touchdowns on 14 attempts. Aaren Landis was 1/1 throwing the football and that one completion was a touchdown pass to Sr. WR Cole Grope.  Lengyel was the leading rusher for the Jays with 96 yards on 8 attempts including 3 rushing touchdowns. Kramer led all receivers in yards gained with a total of 78 yards on 3 receptions including 1 touchdown.

The defense was led by Sr LB Michael French with 14 tackles including a fumble recovery. Following French in tackles accumulated was Prozy (12), Jake Gross (9), Gavin White (8), Eythan Evans (7) and Landis (6). The Blue Jays will travel to Western Reserve this Friday night to battle the Blue Devils (2-1) in an MVAC rivalry match up.
