JAYS GO ON THE ROAD AND EVEN THE SERIES

MCDONALD OH- Jackson Milton got out to a five-run lead in the third inning and held on for a 7-5 victory over McDonald on Tuesday. McDonald scored five runs in the failed comeback. Avery Mayle, Carson Klase, Joe Skowron, and Nolan Agler all picked up RBIs in the rally.

The Blue Jays opened up scoring in the first inning, when Aaren Romigh doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Jackson Milton tallied three runs in the second inning. They scored its runs on a single by Romigh.

Billy Sloan was credited with the victory for the Jays. The righty surrendered five runs on five hits over seven innings, striking out 11.

Skowron started the game for McDonald. The hurler went two-thirds of an inning, allowing three runs on four hits

Jackson Milton racked up 12 hits. Dominic Krol, Owen McDevitt, Romigh, and Sloan each had multiple hits. Sloan, Romigh, McDevitt, and Krol each managed two hits to lead the offense
