JFK BATTLES PAST BEACHWOOD

WARREN, OH- Both teams were strong on the hill Saturday, but Warren JFK defeated Beachwood 3-2. The Eagle pitchers were the story, and allowed just six hits to Beachwood.

JFK got on the board in the first inning when Gavin Shrum singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Caleb Hadley got the win for JFK. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on three hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking one. Jaden Rishel recorded the last five outs to earn the save for the Eagles.

Crenshaw took the loss for Beachwood. The hurler lasted four innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out two.

ShrumAlex DeSalvo, and Cam Hollobaugh each collected one hit to lead JFKDeSalvo led the Eagles with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.

Keilin went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Beachwood in hits.
