JFK RALLIES LATE, GIRARD HOLDS STRONG IN VICTORY

WARREN, OH- Both teams were strong on the hill Thursday, but Girard defeated Warren John F. Kennedy Catholic 3-2. Matt Miles allowed ten hits to JFK in the victory.

Miles led the Indians to victory on the mound. He went seven innings, allowing two runs on ten hits and striking out three.

Aj Arp took the loss for JFK. He allowed five hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out seven.

Austin ClaussellDevin DuttonAnthony CorteseNick DeGregory, and Brady Hunkus all had one hit to lead GirardThe Indians didn’t commit a single error in the field. Andrew DelGarbino had the most chances in the field with seven.

JFK racked up ten hits on the day. Isaac HadleyTim KlabenCamero Hollobaugh, and Gavin Shrum all managed multiple hits for the Eagles.
