JFK SHUTS IT DOWN AGAINST HEARTLAND

WARREN OH- Jaden Rishel threw a shutout to lead John F. Kennedy Catholic  past Heartland Christian 6-0 on Thursday.

A single by Drew Walker in the fourth inning was a positive for Heartland Christian.

Rishel led things off on the mound for the Eagles. Rishel surrendered zero runs on one hit over seven innings, striking out ten.

Will Morgan led things off on the hill for Heartland Christian. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out one. Brett Walker threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

JFK tallied 11 hits in the game. Michael Condoleon, Micheal Bartoe, and Aidan Rossi each racked up multiple hits. Condoleon went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the way in hits.

Walker led Heartland Christian with one hit in two at bats.
