KILPATRICK DRIVES IN FOUR, LAKEVIEW STEALS THEIR WAY TO WIN OVER LIBERTY

CORTLAND, OH- Brendon Kilpatrick was bad news for opposing pitchers on Friday, driving in four on three hits to lead Lakeview past Liberty 11-1 on Friday. Kilpatrick drove in runs on a double in the fourth and a single in the fifth.

Lakeview secured the victory thanks to six runs in the fourth inning. Kilpatrick, Jake Wilms, and Kevin Ellsworth-Myers each had RBIs in the frame.

Clay Lazzari got the win for Lakeview. He surrendered one run on one hit over five innings, striking out seven.

Lakeview collected 13 hits on the day. Kilpatrick, Lazzari, Ellsworth-Myers, and Wilms all had multiple hits for the Bulldogs. Kilpatrick went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Lakeview in hits. The Bulldogs also tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Matthew McRoberts led the way with three.
