KLASE PITCHES BLUE DEVILS TO VICTORY

ROOTSTOWN, OHIO- Mcdonald improves to 4-0 on the season as they ran away early against Rootstown, defeating them 11-0.

Avery Malley went 3 for 3 including hitting a three run homerun in the top of the third inning that put Mcdonald up 10-0. Chayse Hickox also had a productive day at the plate as he went 2 for 3, scoring 1 run.

Carson Klase was the winning pitcher as shut down Rootstown on the mound. Klase only allowed 1 hit and had 10 strikeouts through five innings of work on the mound.

McDonald will look to remain unbeaten when they take on Lowellville on the road on Wednesday.
