KNIGHTS ARE MAKING MOVES IN TENNESSEE

PIGEON FORGE TN- Faith Porter didn’t allow a single run against St. Bede, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Archbishop Hoban to a 4-0 victory on Friday.

Archbishop Hoban got things moving in the second inning. Taylor Gerring drove in one when she singled.

One bright spot for the Bruins was a single by Ella Hermes in the first inning.

Porter took the win for the Knights. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing zero runs on seven hits, striking out seven and walking zero.

Reagan Stoudt took the loss for St. Bede. The pitcher went six innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out two.

Archbishop Hoban smacked one home run on the day. Lacie Quarles went deep in the fifth inning.

Nylah Durham led the Knights with two hits in three at bats. The Knights didn’t commit a single error in the field. Sidney Conti had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.

Hermes went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead St. Bede in hits. They were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Maddy Dalton had the most chances in the field with 13.
