KOHLER ONE-HITS AURORA
CANFIELD, OH- Just a week following her perfect game, South Range Freshman Slinger- Bree Kohler didn’t allow a single run against Aurora, throwing a complete game shutout and leading South Range Raiders Varsity to a 6-0 victory on Friday. The Lady Raiders got things moving in the first inning. Bree Kohler hit a lead-off home run. South Range tallied three runs in the fifth inning. Hope Thomas and Abbey Bokros all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
One bright spot for Aurora was a single by Becca Crawford in the sixth inning.
Bree Kohler was the winning pitcher for South Range. She went seven innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out 12 and walking one. Rachael Dudziak took the loss for Aurora. She allowed seven hits and six runs over five innings.
The Lady Raiders scattered eight hits in the game. Bree Kohler and Hanna Dennison all collected multiple hits for South Range. Bree Kohler led the Raiders with three hits in three at-bats. Crawford went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Aurora in hits.
The Lady Raiders will be home on Monday to continue tournament play, first pitch will be live on YSN at 4PM.
