LABRAE BREAKS OUT THE BROOMS

LaBrae defeated Liberty 14-4 on Tuesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at three with Viking batting in the bottom of the fourth when Desi Allen homered on a 2-2 count, scoring four runs.

Allen led Viking to victory by driving in six runs. Allen went 3-for-3 at the plate. She drove in runs on a double in the first, a grand slam in the fourth, and a walk in the fifth.

The Vikings got on the board in the first inning when Allen doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Grace Barnhart pitched the Viking to victory. Barnhart lasted five innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out seven and walking one.

The Vikings socked one home run on the day. Allen went for the long ball in the fourth inning.

LaBrae racked up 15 hits on the day. Aryana Hartman, Allen, Myra Kintz, and Barnhart all managed multiple hits. Hartman went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead.
