LABRAE WINS SIXTH STRAIGHT

NEWTON FALLS, OHIO – A good old fashioned pitchers duel was what propelled LaBrae to a 2-0 win over Newton Falls on Tuesday night.

Both teams brought it on the mound with strong performances, but LaBrae did a little bit more than the Tigers offensively to snatch the win. Dylan Simpson was shined on the hill for LaBrae as he surrendered zero runs on five hits with three strikeouts over his complete game shutout.

Despite Newton Falls out hitting LaBrae, the Vikings found ways to push runs across with Nate Golder and Dylan Swaton coming home to score the two runs.

LaBrae will look to extend its winning streak to seven games on Wednesday as they will be the road team in Lordstown against the Red Devils at 5:00 p.m.
