LADY BULLDOGS REPRESENT WELL ON SENIOR NIGHT

NEW WATERFORD, OH- When Maplewood arrived at Next Level Complex just outside of the East Palestine village limits, they did not anticipate the emotional and offensive outburst they’d be on the receiving end of.  Coach Andre and the EP Program bid farewell to their seven seniors on Thursday night, but it was his team that decided how they were going out in a 20-7 drubbing of Maplewood.

Over the course of the shortened contest (mercy rule), it was All-YSN Team selection Morgan Rutledge that paced the offense with a 3 for 4 night at the dish, while driving in 5 RBI, and crossing the plate three times as well.  Fellow senior, Joclyn Fristik went 3 for 3 at the plate, scoring three times as well.

In the circle, Madison Telischak dealt 4 innings and scattered six hits while striking out seven.  Rutledge would pitch in relief for an inning and struck out a batter.

The Bulldogs (10-11) will have one final game this season on Friday against EOAC foe, Southern.
