LADY CARDS SHOOT PAST POLAND IN LACROSSE OPENER
YOUNGSTOWN, OH- Cardinal Mooney Senior Annie Daprile led the way with a 5-pack of goals and an assist on her way to lifting her Lady Cardinals over Poland 18-5 Friday evening.
Also contributing to the victory was freshman Ella Szalay who chipped in four goals, three helpers, two interceptions, and five draw controls. Ava Szalay led the way defensively with nine ground balls, while Sophia Graziano was a wall with 13 saves in goal.
Sophia Sdregas and Anna Wollet had 3 goals apiece, while Angelia Rotunno scored a pair, and Taylor Creighton had one.
Mooney will return to action 3/24 against Glenoak at home.
